Beth Sculpher

As our Programme Support Officer, Beth oversees all the different projects for Great Place: Lakes and Dales. This ranges from working with our partners (the Yorkshire Dales National Park, Lake District National Park, Craven District Council and South Lakeland District Council) to develop strategy and decide what action we take next, to managing the admin of funding a range of cultural projects!

Beth’s background is predominantly in events having obtained a First Class degree in Event Management from BIMM Institute as well as working with both small and large event organisations and running running small events in her local area. Through GPLD she currently co-runs Fresh Perspective, a youth-lead organisation aimed at encouraging young people to get involved with and contribute to the events and culture of Skipton, funded by Heritage Action Zone (HAZ).
