📯 Meet Rosie Gray, our third and final speaker for @ryp2018’s next Ideas Cafe, ‘People, Place, Perspective’.

👋 “Hi, I’m Rosie! I have a micro-bakery @reviving_food in a converted horsebox in Kincraig, currently located outside the community hall. I’m passionate about sourdough and careful sourcing of ingredients. I bake to nourish the nearby community, keeping it small scale to maintain face to face relationships, connecting people.
This stems from a motivation to reduce our impact on the environment. My journey leading to sourdough bread has taken me via outdoor education, gardening and cooking and many places.
For me, sourdough provides a connection to land, community and continuing culture. The fascination in doughs influenced by weather, diverse flours, and bakers’ hands, all creating a more resilient food system. Bread is simple, staple, and political.”

🎉Els from Rural Youth Project and Beth from Great Place: Lakes and Dales will be chatting to Rosie, Josh and Jess about all things community, creativity and climate – which underpin each of their work and passions projects in different ways. We can’t wait!

🗓Join us November 30th, 6-7pm
