Last week as part of Youth Day at @cop26uk, James Stuart signed an international statement and an agreement was launched on behalf of UK National Parks along with Cat Manders, a Junior Ranger. This statement has been launched by some of the world’s largest organisations that manage the world’s protected landscapes to urge Governments and large organisations to support the work they do in combatting the climate crisis.
We fully support any actions to protect and enhance our national parks, especially our partners @yorkshiredales and @lakedistrictnpa, and support all organisations coming together to make the future of the environment a bit brighter. We have every confidence that the next generation will be able to lead the way and are behind all organisations such as @ryp2018 that work to empower young people to develop their leadership, enterprise & activism skills.
