“Go to the poets, they will speak to thee”

This year @wordsworthgrasmere are launching a contemporary poetry reading series curated and hosted by poet Kim Moore, listening to what poets have to say about our turbulent times, and how poetry can cross borders to challenge, delight and inspire us.

On the 20th January their guest poet is the internationally recognised poet and playwright Louise Wallwein (@mancpoet). She will be reading from her book Glue (Smith/Doorstop 2017). Glue is a genre-bending volume which seems to contain a whole world – combining poetry, prose, scripts and real-life material to tell a story of childhood, failed adoption and a search for a birth mother.

For more information and how to book, head over to their instagram page @wordsworthgrasmere and follow the link in their bio.
