Fresh Perspective - Great Place Lakes & Dales

Fresh Perspective was set up in 2019.

The idea behind the project was to bring together 16-25 year olds for evening get-togethers based around what young people would like to see on the cultural agenda in the area. The idea was that the group will become a natural ‘go-to’ for consultations on arts and youth issues as well as generating its own networking events.

The team is currently made up of Beth Sculpher, Sian Laura, Maisie Dickenson and Declan Vink. They all work on Fresh Perspective alongside other jobs. Since the outbreak of Covid 19 the team have reacted really well, with the launch of Joy in Numbers: Digital events which promote well-being and bringing people together.
