Join Shortflix finalist, Yorkshire Dales photographer and director, Juliet Klottrup live at the screening of her latest short film Youth of the Rural North. This poetic documentary captures portraits and voices of local young people living in the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria.

The film is an ode to our landscape and a tribute to the young people who allowed Juliet to capture their portraits so truthfully and sincerely.

Juliet will talk about her journey from illustrator to film maker, via photography, her love of old-school 8mm film and young people living and working in the Yorkshire Dales. Finally she’ll explore the relationship between photography and story in conversation with Settle Stories Heritage Project Officer, Jayne Davies.
